The first step is an interview with the owner to outline the profile of their ideal yacht. Once chosen, the shipowner can have an onboard viewing either in Marina di Varazze, if the boat is ready to be bought, or in the Absolute headquarters, in Podenzano, if the boat is still under construction. In the latter case, when the yacht is completed, it is ready for the tank and then for the official sea test with the owner on board in Marina di Varazze. At that point, the boat is delivered to the owner.

Boat transfers service

For years Ligur Nautica has specialized in port-to-port transfers. Even when the summer is over, shipowners increasingly need long transfers for their boats. Such transfers require preliminary preparation: our staff meticulously schedules the route and steps to carry out and checks both the state of the boat and of the safety equipment. The boat is then refueled, and we check that the pantry has everything needed to face navigation. Before setting sail, we also have a look at the weather forecasts.

For security reasons, the crew that deals with boat transfers consist of two people as everything must be carefully prepared for this type of service. While some transfers are carried out within a day, others need at least a stopover at an intermediate port. Sea enthusiasts wish summer never ends, but at some point, shipowners must prepare their boats to spend wintertime at moorings. In November, boats undergo a wintering treatment which allows them not to suffer any damage when moored. This particular type of maintenance guarantees an excellent condition of the yacht during the winter. Ligur Nautica provides this treatment directly into the water without bringing boats to dry areas. In fact, many shipowners usually use their yachts as second homes or for a weekend of absolute relaxation. At the end of the summer season, Ligur Nautica removes cushions, puts covers to protect the boat interiors and exteriors, and weekly washes the boat. It is important to carry out boat system maintenance as well. This is the reason why the air conditioning system, the engines, and the generator are started on a regular basis. Wintering is an essential process to maintain efficient, long-lasting, and high-performing yachts.
