Foreword
Absolute 50 FLY is the first restyling of the 2021 Generation, this time performed on one of the most successful models of the Italian shipyard. In 2017, the original model was awarded both the prestigious European Powerboat of the Year in the category “above 45 feet” and the Asia Boating Awards in the category “up to 55 feet.”
The upgrade of this yacht is characterized by an excellent balance between size, cost, and performance and by lots of comfortable spaces. The idea took shapes from the stylistic innovations adopted aboard the 47 FLY, which have been applied, developed, and emphasized on a model that can be considered as a brand-new boat.
Exteriors
The exterior lines are strongly more modern and dynamic, thanks to the sensitive shortening of the “sword” (a feature of all Absolute Yachts’ models.) This arrangement leaves room for a unique and uninterrupted window.
The stern cockpit—large and versatile—has a comfortable sofa that easily turns into a sun lounger. Thanks to the complete opening of the access windows, it is directly connected to the galley, creating a single large open space.
Climbing a few steps, you access the fly zone, which is one of the largest in this segment as it extends from the bow windshield to the stern.
Inside this area, you find a comfortable table surrounded by a U-shaped sofa, a full corner galley, and the helm station, which is double and equipped with a comfortable sun lounger.
From the stern cockpit, through an ample and well-protected walkway, you can quickly reach the bow area. Here, there is a cozy relaxation area with a third large sun lounger.
Interiors
If we look at the interiors, a significant design novelty is offered by the contrasts in the pleasant alternation between the glossy-lacquered parts on one side, in dark wood, and the matte-lacquered ones on the other, in lighter wood.
To the left of the entrance, the galley has comfortable counters in fine materials and can be separated from the rest of the salon thanks to a sliding glass partition. The furniture in front of the galley has been redesigned. In addition to offering three large storage spaces, it has a smoky-glass top that acts as a practical counter.
The salon has a very refined decor, embellished with fine materials. From the sofas—close to the steering position—you can comfortably watch the TV that has a retractable screen and built-in speakers in the ceiling. The side windows without pillars ensure exceptional brightness.
The steering position is ergonomic and well equipped; it is flanked by a side door—particularly useful during maneuvering operations—and by a helpful electrical switchboard for immediate access.
Below deck, the full-beam master cabin is in the middle of the boat and benefits from maximum privacy and complete quiet. Very spacious and bright, it has large side windows without pillars, so that you can always enjoy the view of the sea. Moreover, it has spacious storage areas—such as a cabinet at starboard and a large wardrobe with a mirror door—a vanity cabinet with dedicated illumination, a sofa at port side, a pouf, and a mirror. Through a sliding door, you access the en-suite head: a space with new covering materials that has a double openable porthole and large storage compartments.
The VIP cabin is at the bow, almost as large as the master cabin. It is always really bright and has an en-suite head, large storage areas, and elegant furnishings.
The third guest cabin has two single berths; the crew cabin, located at the stern, can also accommodate an extra guest.
In terms of technological innovations, the 50 FLY, Generation 2021, is equipped with all the latest solutions adopted by the Absolute Yachts’ shipyard: new air conditioning and entertainment systems, renewed audio technology, and last-generation radar systems.
Engine
The New Absolute 50 FLY has two Volvo Penta IPS 600 propulsion systems with D6 engines (480 hp.)
The maximum speed is 30 knots.
