Foreword
Officially presented at the 2019 Miami Yacht Show, Absolute 62 FLY, Generation 2020, aims at creating a new Absolute dimension: a larger yacht, more comfortable and refined than any other boat in the same category.
Thanks to innovative engineering and a thorough structure, it was possible to build a boat without compromise. Just think to the cockpit, the fly, and the bow area: three large and well-equipped spaces that are perfectly enjoyableat any time of the day, either for sunbathing or having romantic aperitifs at sunset.
Interiors
The main deck has a galley at the entrance: coplanar and fully connected with the stern cockpit. By opening the vertical window and the side access window, you get an immense open space: convenient, practical, and ideal in case of guests on board!
In front of the galley, equipped as that of an actual house and perfect for long stays, there is an elegant teak table with a U-shaped sofa.
On the main deck, you also find a relaxation area with a double sofa, a well-equipped entertainment area, and a tasteful crystal table. This space can be easily separated from the cooking area by an elegant electric glass.
The helm station has two ergonomic seats, an electric switchboard that simplifies monitoring operations, and lots of technologies at your fingertips. The presence of a side door turns extremely useful, especially during maneuvering operations.
The air-conditioning system is functional and discreet—without direct streams of air—and all the rooms have large unframed windows that offer a 360-degree view and the feeling of being completely surrounded by the sea.
Below deck, you find all the room you need, well organized, and with refined details. Moreover, the presence of retractable sliding doors significantly increases livability.
The master cabin is in the middle of the boat, covers the entire width of the hull, and has two huge side windows. The result? Sheer tranquility, a breathtaking view, and the incredible feeling of sleeping surrounded by the sea.
Inside the master cabin, you have plenty of space for a queen-size bed, a walk-in closet, low furniture along both sides, roomy bedside tables, a large vanity desk with a pouf, a mirror, and dedicated illumination. The en-suite head has spacious shelves and an openable porthole in the shower.
The VIP cabin is at the bow, but its size has nothing to envy to the master one. It provides plenty of space for your luggage and clothes and has a luxurious head with a porthole behind the mirror, which is electrically retractable.
At starboard, another guest cabin has two single berths that can be joined thanks to a practical electric control.
Aboard the 62 FLY, there is also a comfortable double crew cabin.
Exteriors
On the upper deck, you will discover that the fly can have two configurations: roll bar or soft top. Here, the space is immense: at the stern, the large terrace can be furnished with deckchairs; at the bow, the starboard sofa can turn into a comfortable sun lounger.
The flybridge cabinet —with fridge, ice maker, barbecue, sink, and telescopic faucet—has a new color that matches the dashboard. At the port side, the steering position has two ergonomic seats, elegant lines, lots of technology available, and can also be equipped with two 12-inch GPS monitors. A comfortable teak table and a large U-shaped sofa make this flybridge the ideal place for outdoor lunches and dinners.
Thanks to two ample walkways, you can easily reach the bow area: a third relaxation area equipped with a comfortable sofa and a large sun lounger.
Engine
The IPS 950 propulsion system is the result of the collaboration between Absolute and Volvo Penta; it has two D11 engines with 725 hp and can count on IPS port drives with tractor propellers.
The benefits? The possibility of installing an extremely responsive joystick and of quickly maneuvering with the wheel, even at reduced speed.
The maximum cruising speed is 25 knots, while the absolute one is 32.
