Presented in August 2019 during Ligur Nautica’s Absolute Weekend and a month later at the Cannes Yachting Festival, Navetta 68 “Generation 2020” encapsulates Absolute Yachts’ vision: outstanding spaces, great comfort, and excellent performance. The boat is both an agile companion for short trips and an ideal yacht for long-range cruising.
The cockpit—fifteen feet wide and almost two feet long—has been designed to be multifunctional. It helps you either creating a relaxed atmosphere on the sofa, with lowered curtains, or fostering conviviality when sitting at the table for aperitifs and meals. Moreover, this area is directly connected to the inside galley and acts as an anteroom to a large open space with extraordinary sea views.
Inside the main deck, the feeling is of unlimited space and exceptional brightness: the surrounding windows without pillars offer a 360-degree panoramic view.
A well-equipped galley with peninsula, a table for eight, a double sofa (in leather or fabric), a low crystal table with retractable tv, and the ergonomic and quiet air conditioning system make this room elegant and functional: just like a manor, but surrounded by water.
The steering position is raised from the living room and can be partially separated thanks to a dividing wall, ensuring the concentration of the driver and the privacy of the guests.
The lower deck is accessible via a safe and comfortable staircase. In the hallway—which leads to a storage room and the sleeping area—there is even a small wine cellar.
Navetta 68 has four cabins.
The master cabin is the flagship of this yacht. Located at the bow and raised above the floating level, it has large windows that offer mesmerizing views of the sea since the moment you wake up. It is separated from the rest of the rooms—for maximum privacy—and has a king-size bed, very spacious wardrobes, vanity cabinets, large spaces for stowing luggage, and refined finishes in pure Italian style. Furthermore, it has a private en-suite head as wide as the hull, with large windows on both sides, a double sink, and an extra-large shower cubicle.
In the middle of the boat, there are a VIP cabin—similar in size to the master cabin and also equipped with en-suite head, wardrobe, and vanity cabinet—and two twin cabins, one of which can become double thanks to the electric sliding of one of the two berths.
The presence of six sliding doors turns very useful as it optimizes the space and adds several square feet, removing unnecessary obstacles, especially in passageways.
Outdoor, on the upper deck, it is immediately evident that the fly of the Navetta 68 is among the largest in its category.
The spaces are well-organized: an aft deck area, a dining area, a spacious bar cabinet—with sink, grill, fridge, and icemaker—and a large piloting area with two symmetrical sofas that frame an ergonomic and fully-equipped steering position.
Accessible through a wide, comfortable, and safe walkway, the bow area has a sun lounger, a sofa, and an extendable table with seats obtainable from the transformation of the solarium into another sofa.
In the engine room, there is a highly effective air extraction system.
In terms of propulsion, Navetta 68, Generation 2020, can count on two Volvo Penta propulsion systems, depending on the version, two IPS 1200 D13 with 900 hp or two 1350 D13 with 1000 hp.
Thanks to the construction techniques and propulsion technology, the yacht is both quiet and fast.On the flybridge, the noise of the engines is not even perceived, and the bridge does not vibrate.
The maximum cruising speed is 20.5 knots, while the absolute one reaches 25.5 knots.
