The Absolute Navetta 64: exploring new horizons without ever feeling far from home

The new Navetta 64 – The Absolute Pathfinder is the first Generation 2021 model. This all-around boat includes not only Absolute Yachts’ best features but also innovative upgrades.

The Navetta 64 is not the mere expansion of an already complete range, but it is rather the most tangible expression of “generous engineering.”  In other words, the shipyard has implemented both the usual Absolute Yachts’ best features and exceptional onboard innovations.

The Navetta 64 is like a sister to the other models in the range: it is a Navetta, and you can easily tell why.

The external lines are enhanced by the long side windows—which run uninterrupted from the transom up to the windshield—by the significant enlargement of the bow windows, and the opening of the side gunwales in the cockpit. Moreover, two hidden side doors at starboard allow access to the crew cabin and the steering position.

The most important innovation is in the transom, which is usually intended as a storage area. Aboard the Beach Club Version, this area of the Navetta 64 has an entirely new use: an utterly unique solution for boats of this size. On this version, the shipowner and the other passengers can enjoy an additional VIP cabin: an actual double room with a bed convertible into a sofa, an en-suite head, a separate shower, two walk-in closets, air conditioning, a stereo, and a fridge. Right at the edge of the sea, this cabin has independent access—separated from the leisure spaces—and has been obtained by relocating the crew cabin.

In addition to being curved, the entrance to the Beach Club is fully tinted, resulting in a beautiful engineering masterpiece. The function of this door is twofold: both watertight and waterproof. The presence of a pneumatic gasket allows both the waterproof use while resting and the watertight one while navigating. It is enough to push a button to activate a compressor that inflates the gasket, which expands, maximizing the adherence of the inner tubes to the metal frame.

Another key novelty on the Navetta 64 is in the stern cockpit. Here, the opening of the side wale and the removal of the traditional bulwark have increased the floor area by around 1 foot on each side: a significant advantage, considering a beam of around 18 feet. Thanks to a new handrail, the view is now completely clear and directly enjoyable from below the railing, rather than above it.

The upper deck is as wide as the living area in the lower level. This wide-open space offers a fully equipped galley, a big table, and a comfortable central cockpit surrounded by two sofas. In addition, the hardtop has a soft top that can be opened. You can even enjoy the upper deck when the summer is over: a transparent cover in a rigid material allows you to close the space thanks to a perimeter guide.

The interiors are the ultimate expression of Absolute Yachts’ philosophy: maximum space, high livability, and Italian quality. The aft galley—equipped just like the one back home—is connected to the cockpit thanks to the complete opening of the French windows. The salon, finished with refined decor, is furnished with comfortable sofas and an entertainment area.

Each space has wide frameless windows, offering an uninterrupted view of the sea. The steering position is protected by an incredible windshield, consisting of a single element of more than 16 feet and without central pillars. Therefore, you can fully enjoy the view when seated or standing. At its side, there is a helpful side door, ideal for maneuvering operations.

Below deck, the master cabin is at the bow. Raised from the waterline, it covers the entire width of the boat. It has big side windows, a king-size bed, comfortable closets, large storage spaces, a vanity area, and a bookcase. Privacy, comfort, and a spectacular view are ensured. On the same level, you find a full-beam head in the bow with two large windows, a separate shower, and a large countertop in fine materials. The VIP cabin is furnished like the shipowner’s one and has an en-suite head with sliding entrance doors, which open in a synchronized way. There is also another cabin with two single berths, a private closet, and a head accessible both from the inside and from the central hallway.

Onboard the Navetta 64, each space offers maximum livability. They are panoramic, bright, and furnished with everything you need to feel just like at home. This is one of the reasons why, just a few weeks after the launch, the Absolute Navetta 64 received three prestigious awards. She was awarded the “Best Innovation Model” for boats between 64 and 80 feet during the 19th edition of the World Yachts Trophies, the “Best for Travel” at the Best of Boats 2020 Award Ceremony, and the first place in the category “Up to 20 m” at the 16th edition of the European Powerboat Award 2021.
